H. WON TAI CHI INSTITUTE

Who are the disciples of Yang Sau-Chung SIGONG?

#1 disciple is Yip Tai-Tak SIBAK.

#2 disciple is Chu Gin-Son SIFU.

#3 disciple is Chu Kin-Hung SISOU.

Being a disciple carries a tremendous prestige and responsibilities. Therefore, as for me, it is absolutely critical to know who are the actual disciples of Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan and of its importance, because it is this lineage that I belong, being one of the 6th generation lineage disciples.

For many years I have known about a particular website that is solely dedicated to defunct the legitimacy of the discipleship of Chu Kin-Hung SISOU, and now, I will address this issue...though I should have done much much sooner.

Is Chu King-Hung SISOU a disciple of Yang SIGONG? YES, he is. He is the third disciple of Yang SIGONG. How do I know? Because my SIFU has told me so. How does he know? Because Yang SIGONG told him over a telephone call.  If Yang SIGONG said so, then there is absolutely no doubt, just as Yang SIGONG says in "Practical Use Of Tai Chi Chuan: It's Application and Variations', that Yip Tai-Tak is a disciple...thus, further verifications are not needed

As for the Frenchman whose objective is to defunct Chu King-Hung, he is wrong. The website that has all those wishful thinking evidences, of which most are irrelevant. From the strict point of the authenticity of Chu SISOU, he is a disciple.  However, to argue the authenticity of the discipleship of Chu SISOU with his understanding of the knowledge and skill, is a totally different matter. The Frenchman is somewhat right about the years that Chu SISOU has claimed: those many years with Yang SIGONG didn't happened, and the latter cannot provide any evidence that validates his claim. I know approximately how many years Chu SISOU spent with Yang SIGONG.  It's nowhere near what Chu SISOU claims...not even remotely close.

Obviously this Frenchman is upset, understandably so, thinking he has been dupped...perhaps/perhaps not.  However, at the same time, I want to present, that it is not Chu SISOU fault that the Frenchman decided to train with him. Therefore, Chu SISOU didn't mislead him...well, not completely.  If the Frenchman's decision to train with Chu SISOU was based solely on the Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan discipleship, then it is not the fault of Chu SISOU...not at all. As far as I know, many Europeans studied with Chu SISOU because they believed that he was the third disciple of Yang SIGONG, which is true, and that claim, however it might have been marketed, was again absolutely true. Hence, you cannot blame Chu SISOU for all those individuals who had ulterior motives and wanted to get in the action.  All of them had their certain objectives, whatever they might be, and some were successful in attain them and some did not...c'est la vie.

Let the record be clear that Chu King-Hung SISOU is the third disciple of Yang Sau-Chung SIGONG. This authenticity of his discipleship is absolutely true and cannot be questioned. As for the other questions...fire away!
